DR. Betty Haynes was known as the Pearl of Gospel Music. She was born and raised in The Historic southern City of Macon Georgia. The proud mother of two beautiful daughters, and five grandchildren, and two great grand kids. A true believer in Jesus Christ “Betty Haynes” began singing at a young age in churches for different occasions; she went on to follow her dream of Ministering to the whole world through her Music Ministry. Her first Release is entitled “God Saved Me “Betty Often recounts how this song was given to her by God after her oldest child was having a second heart surgery. Dr. Haynes was a graduate of Mercer University Macon, Georgia, and Life Christian Center (The Beacon Institute) Covington, Ga. She served as one of the youth minister at her church “Greater Zion Hill Baptist” She has appeared on programs with such artists as Debra Snipes, The Pilgrims Jubilees, The Canton spiritual’s and Lee Williams and The spiritual QC’s Evangelist Dorothy Norwood just to name a few. Our Mother Mentor and friend was call home to be with The Lord she left us a Powerful Legacy with her powerful cover of The Staple Singers Mega Hit “I’ll Take There” The caravans a building not made by Hand, The Hawkins singers Classic “oh Happy day” C.I.
